What you can do
Both licences work the same way here, except for logos and trademarks.
YesYou can
- One product, everywhere it ships. Use the icon as the icon of one app, game, website, browser extension or other software product, on every platform and store that product ships on. Free apps, paid apps and client work all count.
- Promote it. App Store and Play Store screenshots, your website, ads, social posts, videos, press kits, and stickers and merch that promote the product.
- Change it. Resize, crop, recolour, add a badge or animate it.
- Keep it. The licence never expires, even if you stop paying for anything else.
- Make it for a client. Agencies and freelancers can buy the licence in the client's name (put them as the licensee at checkout), or transfer it to them once by emailing us.
NoYou can't
- Pass the files on. No reselling, giving away or sharing the files themselves, alone or in a pack, template, UI kit, theme or icon set, even after editing them.
- Stretch one licence. One licence covers one product. A second app needs a second licence.
- Trademark a Standard icon. Other people may own the same icon, so it can't be your logo or (part of) a trademark. Exclusive allows that.
- Misuse it. Nothing illegal, hateful or misleading, and nothing that suggests IconOven endorses you.
- Train AI on it. No training or fine-tuning a model on the files, and no feeding them to one to make look-alike icons.
Exclusive, in detail

Exclusive can be bought only while nobody holds a Standard licence for the icon.
- 2Sold out when you pay
The moment your payment clears, the icon is marked sold out.
- 3Yours alone, for good
We never sell it again under any licence. You can use it as a logo and register it as a trademark.
We keep the copyright in the artwork, and the icon stays on our site marked "Sold out". If you'd rather it didn't, email us and we'll take it down.
The legal version
- Grant. IconOven ("we") grants the person or company named on the order ("you") a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive (Standard) or exclusive (Exclusive) licence to use, copy and modify the icon files bought on that order, for one end product, within the limits on this page. The licence can't be sublicensed, and can be transferred once, in full, to the owner of the end product. We keep all rights we don't grant here.
- Start and end. The licence starts when your payment clears. It ends automatically if the payment is refunded or reversed, or if you break these terms and don't fix it within 14 days of us telling you. If it ends, you must stop using the icon in new releases and remove it within 30 days.
- No warranty. The files come as-is. We check every icon for originality before it goes on sale, but our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for that icon.
- Proof. Every order includes a licence ID for each icon. Keep your order email: it's your proof of licence.
